Pomegranate and Almond Oatmeal

A filling, creamy oatmeal bowl topped with almonds and pomegranate seeds - a great source of protein, insoluble fibre, vitamin C and iron!

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Pomegranate Pomegranate 1/4 1/4
  • Almonds Almonds 20g 2 tbsp
  • Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 90g 1 cup
  • Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 2 tsp 2 tsp
  • Almond Milk Almond Milk 300ml 1 & 1/5 cups

Instructions

  1. 1.Pour 250ml of milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once bubbling gently, reduce the heat to low and add the porridge oats. Stir in the maple syrup and Cook for 4mins.
  2. 2.Meanwhile extract the pomegranate seeds and crush the almonds.
  3. 3.Add the remaining milk to the oats and cook for a final minute
  4. 4.Serve with the pomegranate seeds and almonds.
