- Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 90g 1 cup
- Apple Apple 1 1
- Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
- Ground Nutmeg Ground Nutmeg 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
- Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Almond Milk Almond Milk 250ml 1 cup
- Table Salt Table Salt 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- 1.For a single serving, add 250ml/1 cup of milk to a saucepan, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil.
- 2.Once boiled, pour in the porridge oats, nutmeg, maple syrup and half a chopped apple. Stir, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 6-8 mins.
- 3.Once the milk has reduced, pour in some more milk, quantity depending on how creamy you prefer the oatmeal, stir and cook for 1-2 mins until hot.
- 4.Serve with the remaining chopped apple and a dusting of cinnamon.
