Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeal

Tasty, filling and protein-rich, this apple and cinnamon oatmeal will keep hunger at bay for hours!

Ingredients

  • Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 90g 1 cup
  • Apple Apple 1 1
  • Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
  • Ground Nutmeg Ground Nutmeg 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
  • Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Almond Milk Almond Milk 250ml 1 cup
  • Table Salt Table Salt 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1.For a single serving, add 250ml/1 cup of milk to a saucepan, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil.
  2. 2.Once boiled, pour in the porridge oats, nutmeg, maple syrup and half a chopped apple. Stir, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 6-8 mins.
  3. 3.Once the milk has reduced, pour in some more milk, quantity depending on how creamy you prefer the oatmeal, stir and cook for 1-2 mins until hot.
  4. 4.Serve with the remaining chopped apple and a dusting of cinnamon.
