Garlic Green Beans with Lemon

- Green Beans Green Beans 250g 2 cups
- Olive Oil Olive Oil 3 tbsp 3 tbsp
- Garlic Garlic 2 cloves 2 cloves
- Table Salt Table Salt 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
- Lemon Juice Lemon Juice 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Ground Black Pepper Ground Black Pepper Pinch Pinch
Instructions
- 1.Wash the green beans and snap or cut into approx. 5 cm long pieces.
- 2.Cook the beans for 5 minutes in a pot of boiling water.
- 3.Rinse the cooked beans with ice cold water and drain well, set aside.
- 4.Heat the vegetable oil in a large, non-stick frying pan, add the minced garlic, and fry for 2-3 minutes until the garlic turns slightly golden in colour.
- 5.Add the green beans and stir fry for 3-5 minutes.
- 6.Season with lemon juice, pepper and salt and stir fry for a further 1-2 minutes.
