Pairing up granadilla and honey results in an irresistible sweet and tropical spread for your favorite slice of bread in the morning. It's not only delicious but also packed with vitamins, protein and healthy carbohydrates.

Ingredients

  • Granadilla Granadilla 5 5
  • Lemon Lemon 1/2 1/2
  • Set Honey Set Honey 170g 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. 1.Halve granadillas, scoop out the pulp and set aside in the fridge.
  2. 2.Place 4x half granadilla shells in a pot, cover with water and boil for 30mins (until shells turn soft and translucent). Set aside 1/2 cup of boiled liquid.
  3. 3.Once the shells have cooled, scoop out inner flesh and pulse in a blender until smooth.
  4. 4.Combine pulp, squeezed lemon juice, reserved liquid and honey in a pot. Stir over medium heat until honey has dissolved, bring to boil and simmer on medium-high heat until thick, stir occasionally to keep from burning.
  5. 5.Transfer jam to sterilised jars once cooled and refrigerate.
