Blackberry and Apple Oat Crumble

This delicious crunchy crumble is our favorite kind of meal - dessert for breakfast! Why can't breakfast be outrageously yummy! Our crumble combines oats, blackberries, apple, blueberries, nuts and maple syrup to produce a dairy free and protein-rich crumble that will go down a storm at the breakfast table!

- Blackberries Blackberries 210g 1 & 1/2 cups
- Blueberries Blueberries 225g 1 & 1/2 cups
- Apple Apple 1 1
- Jumbo Oats Jumbo Oats 90g 1 cup
- Mixed Nuts Mixed Nuts 135g 1 cup
- Coconut Oil Coconut Oil 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Chia Seeds Chia Seeds 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1.Melt the coconut oil in a pan over a very low heat.
- 2.Add the oats, nuts, cinnamon and maple syrup to the pan and combine all the ingredients together.
- 3.Slice the apple. Place the fruit in a baking dish and spread evenly.
- 4.Pour the crumble topping on to the fruit.
- 5.Bake for 20 mins at 180°.
- 6.Serve immediately with a spoonful of creamy plant-based yoghurt.
