Caramelized Banana and Oatmeal Pancakes

Light, fluffy and gluten free pancakes with cinnamon and caramelized bananas. Delicious!

Gluten Free Dairy Free High Protein

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Pancakes:
  • Soy Milk Soya Milk 375ml 1 & 1/2 cup
  • Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 180g 2 cups
  • Baking Powder Baking Powder 2 tsp 2 tsp
  • Sesame Oil Sesame Oil 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla Extract Vanilla Extract 2 tsp 2 tsp
  • Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Table Salt Table Salt pinch pinch
  • Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
  • Caramelized Banana:
  • Granulated Sugar Granulated Sugar 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Banana Banana 2 2
  • Soy Milk Soya Milk 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon pinch pinch
  • Coconut Oil Coconut Oil 1 tbsp 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1.Place all the ingredients except banana into a blender.
  2. 2.Blend until smooth, add little bit of milk for better consistency (if required).
  3. 3.Heat lightly greased pan over medium heat.
  4. 4.Pour batter on the pan (1/4 cup for each pancake).
  5. 5.As you see bubbles appearing on the surface, flip the pancake to the other side and let it cook for 1 minute.
  6. 6.Repeat the same for remaining batter.
  7. 7.Slice bananas length-wise.
  8. 8.Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat and put banana into it. Cook them for one minute.
  9. 9.Add sugar & cook until the sauce begins to caramalize.
  10. 10.Turn off the heat, add vanilla extract and serve with pancakes.
