Instructions
- 1.Preheat the oven to 180C.
- 2.In a large casserole dish, fry the onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant.
- 3.Add in the cinnamon, oregano, chilli, paprika and tomato puree and fry until aromatic, about a minute.
- 4.Pour in the tinned tomatoes and drained butter beans, and stir in the sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- 5.Bring it to a boil and then take it off the stove.
- 6.Bake it, uncovered, for and hour.
- 7.Serve, garnish with parsley on top of a crusty bread.
