If you come from the South of Italy and you're so lucky to still have a grandma to visit, homemade italian baked bread or Pane Originato is what you'll get for a snack. No matter how old you are, no matter what "snack" actually means to you and, most of all, no matter what time of day it is!

- Extra Virgin Olive Oil Extra Virgin Olive Oil 8 tbsp 8 tbsp
- Dried Oregano Dried Oregano 2 tsp 2 tsp
- Table Salt Table Salt pinch pinch
- Large Vine Tomatoes Large Vine Tomatoes 4 4
Instructions
- 1.For a better result, you can grill the bread a little bit ("bruschetta" style) or use the bread just the way it is.
- 2.Cut the ripe tomatoes in half and squeeze the juice on the bread (worth it, really!).
- 3.Then pour the extra virgin olive oil (abundantly) on top, sprinkle with a little salt and dried oregano (preferably homemade sun dried fresh oregano).
- 4.Done. It's that simple. And so good!
