Learn to bake your own homemade loaf with this simple yet delicious seeded spelt bread recipe. A dense and flavorful loaf, infused with sweet maple syrup and topped with pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds and golden linseed!

- Spelt Flour Spelt Flour 500g 2 cups
- Pumpkin Seeds Pumpkin Seeds 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Sunflower Seeds Sunflower Seeds 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Golden Linseed Golden Linseed 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Flax Seeds Flax Seeds 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Sesame Seeds Sesame Seeds 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Seed Mix Seed Mix 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Instant Yeast Instant Yeast 10g 3 tsp
- Table Salt Table Salt 10g 2/3 tbsp
- Water Water 375ml 1 & 1/2 cups
- Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Olive Oil Olive Oil 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1.Lightly oil a loaf tin and set aside.
- 2.Combine flour, seeds, yeast and salt in a large bowl.
- 3.Pour in the maple syrup and mid-warm water.
- 4.Mix until dough is soft and sticky (not runny or lumpy).
- 5.Scoop dough into the prepared tin, cover with lightly oiled cling film and leave to rise at room temperatur for 1hr, or until it has doubled in size.
- 6.Preheat oven to 200c.
- 7.Remove cling film, brush top of dough with olive oil and sprinkle with seed mixture.
- 8.Bake for 30min or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the bread comes out clean.
- 9.Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
- 10.Enjoy!
