- Brown Rice Penne Brown Rice Penne 250g 2 & 1/2 cups
- Tahini Tahini 3 tbsp 3 tbsp
- Lemon Lemon 1 1
- Garlic Garlic 1 clove 1 clove
- Small Onions Small Onions 2 2
- Ground Turmeric Ground Turmeric 1.5 tsp 1.5 tsp
- Rice Syrup Rice Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Nutritional Yeast Nutritional Yeast 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
- Olive Oil Olive Oil 3 tbsp 3 tbsp
- Table Salt Table Salt pinch pinch
- Fresh Parsley Fresh Parsley handful 1/3 cup
- Tempeh Tempeh 200g 1 & 1/4 cups
Instructions
- 1.Cook brown rice penne until al dente.
- 2.In a small pan heat 2 tbsp olive oil and fry diced onions and minced garlic until translucent.
- 3.Add onions, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, turmeric, leftover olive oil and salt to a high speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth.
- 4.Fry tempeh in a pan until crispy.
- 5.Pour sauce over pasta and garnish with tempeh and parsley.
