We know pineapple splits opinions but how do we feel about pumpkin pizzas? Still reading, then we think you should try it! Our homemade pizza with sliced pumpkin, onion, feta, sour cream and paprika is delicious and will add some variety to your next pizza night!

- All Purpose Flour Plain Flour 240g 2 cups
- Yeast Yeast 20g 2.5 tbsp
- Granulated Sugar Granulated Sugar pinch pinch
- Table Salt Table Salt 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Olive Oil Olive Oil 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
- Water Water 125ml 1/2 cup
- Pumpkin Pumpkin 1/2 1/2
- Red Onion Red Onion 4 4
- Feta Cheese Feta Cheese 150g 1 cup
- Sour Cream Sour Cream 150ml 2/3 cup
- Sweet Paprika Sweet Paprika pinch pinch
- Table Salt Table Salt pinch pinch
- Ground Black Pepper Ground Black Pepper pinch pinch
- Dried Oregano Dried Oregano pinch pinch
- Lemon Lemon 1/2 1/2
Instructions
- 1.Mix yeast, sugar, salt and warm water.
- 2.Add flour to a mixing bowl, form a well in the middle and add olive oil and yeast mixture to the centre, mix until it turns into a doughy mixture, and let it rest for three hours covered with a kitchen towel in a sunny/warm area.
- 3.Once risen, preheat oven to 180c.
- 4.Deseed pumpkin and cut into bite sized pieces.
- 5.Peel and slice red onion.
- 6.Cut feta into small cubes.
- 7.Add sweet pepper powder, a squeeze of lemon juice and salt to the sour cream and mix well.
- 8.Knead dough and divide into two or four parts.
- 9.Roll dough out on a greased oven tray and bake until the dough is a light yellow.
- 10.Add sour cream, pumpkin, onions and feta and bake for 15 minutes.
- 11.Season to taste with salt and pepper.
