This is our new favorite vegan snack! Chickpeas sprinkled with chili, paprika and cumin and gently roasted in the oven. Incredibly easy to make, tasty and healthy!

- Chickpeas in Water Chickpeas in Water 800g 4 cups
- Olive Oil Olive Oil 60ml 1/4 cup
- Garlic Garlic 2 cloves 2 cloves
- Sea Salt Sea Salt 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili Flakes Crushed Chillies 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Ground Cumin Ground Cumin 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Paprika Paprika 1 tsp 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1.Preheat oven to 220C.
- 2.Drain and rinse chickpeas and allow to air dry in a single layer for a minimum of 15min.
- 3.Place chickpeas in a medium sized bowl, add olive oil, sea salt and crushed garlic.
- 4.Add coated chickpeas to a baking tray and drizzle with olive oil and sea salt.
- 5.Cook for 30 to 40min, stirring every 10min, until golden and crispy.
- 6.Remove chickpeas from oven.
- 7.Combine spices and chilli flakes in a medium mixing bowl, add chickpeas and toss to combine
- 8.Season to taste and serve immediately.
