- Quinoa Quinoa 90g 1/2 cup
- Firm Tofu Firm Tofu 300g 1 & 1/5 cups
- Yellow Onion Brown Onion 1 1
- Frozen Peas Frozen Peas 150g 1 cup
- Cumin Seeds Cumin Seeds 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Olive Oil Olive Oil 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Ground Turmeric Ground Turmeric 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
- Table Salt Table Salt to taste to taste
- Black Sesame Seeds Black Sesame Seeds 2 tsp 2 tsp
Instructions
- 1.Add 1 cup water to a sauce pan and bring to boil.
- 2.Add uncooked 1/2 cup quinoa into water, then reduce heat to low and cover the pan until the liquid is absorbed or quinoa is fluffy. Keep the boiled/cooked quinoa aside.
- 3.Take a saute pan. Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil on medium heat, add cumin seed, fry till they become brown.
- 4.Add onions and soya chunks, stir and let them become golden brown. Add turmeric & salt.
- 5.Add peas and lightly sautee them until they become soft.
- 6.Add quinoa and stir.
- 7.Serve in a bowl and garnish with black sesame seeds.
