Gluten Free Dairy Free High Protein Under 30 mins

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Quinoa Quinoa 90g 1/2 cup
  • Firm Tofu Firm Tofu 300g 1 & 1/5 cups
  • Yellow Onion Brown Onion 1 1
  • Frozen Peas Frozen Peas 150g 1 cup
  • Cumin Seeds Cumin Seeds 1 tsp 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil Olive Oil 1 tsp 1 tsp
  • Ground Turmeric Ground Turmeric 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
  • Table Salt Table Salt to taste to taste
  • Black Sesame Seeds Black Sesame Seeds 2 tsp 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1.Add 1 cup water to a sauce pan and bring to boil.
  2. 2.Add uncooked 1/2 cup quinoa into water, then reduce heat to low and cover the pan until the liquid is absorbed or quinoa is fluffy. Keep the boiled/cooked quinoa aside.
  3. 3.Take a saute pan. Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil on medium heat, add cumin seed, fry till they become brown.
  4. 4.Add onions and soya chunks, stir and let them become golden brown. Add turmeric & salt.
  5. 5.Add peas and lightly sautee them until they become soft.
  6. 6.Add quinoa and stir.
  7. 7.Serve in a bowl and garnish with black sesame seeds.
