Tomato Gratin is a tasty vegetarian side dish - delicious warm or cold and perfect in salads or party platters.

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Large Vine Tomatoes Large Vine Tomatoes 2 2
  • Garlic Garlic 1/2 clove 1/2 clove
  • Breadcrumbs Breadcrumbs 6 tbsp 6 tbsp
  • Table Salt Table Salt 2 pinches 2 pinches
  • Olive Oil Olive Oil 4 tbsp 4 tbsp
  • Fresh Parsley Fresh Parsley small handful small handful
  • Parmesan Cheese Parmesan Cheese 2 tbsp 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1.Remove the stem from the tomatoes and wash them. Cut them laterally. Scoop out the seeds and remove the excess tomato water. Season with a pinch of salt.
  2. 2.In a bowl mix the bread crumbs, chopped parsley, grated parmigiano, salt, chopped garlic and olive oil. Add the oil little by little, until the consistency becomes thick.
  3. 3.Stuff the tomatoes with the mixture and bake in middle of oven at 180° until crumbs are golden, about 15-20 minutes.
