A creamy morning oatmeal flavored with saffron and psyllium husk and topped with banana and mango - delicious!

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Soy Milk Soya Milk 250ml 1 cup
  • Water Water 125ml 1/2 cup
  • Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 45g 1/2 cup
  • Psyllium Husk Psyllium Husk 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Saffron Saffron 5 strands 5 str&s
  • Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Banana Banana 1 1
  • Pomegranate Seeds Pomegranate Seeds 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Mango Mango 1 1

Instructions

  1. 1.In a saucepan, mix milk and water. Bring it to boil.
  2. 2.Add porridge oats and psyllium husk and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. 3.Then add saffron and maple syrup, stir occasionally. Cook for a further 2 minutes.
  4. 4.Slice the mango and banana.
  5. 5.Once the porridge is done, pour into a bowl and top with sliced banana, mango and pomegranate seeds.
