A crunchy nutty crumble containing almonds, cinnamon and ground cloves with a sweet apple filling. Our delicious vegan crumble is easy peasy to make and guaranteed to be a real crowd-pleaser! It's completely dairy free and is equally delicious warm straight from the oven or as a late night treat with your favorite ice cream!

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Apple Apple 3 3
  • Spelt Flour Spelt Flour 6 tbsp 6 tbsp
  • Vegan Margarine Vegan Margarine 3 tbsp 3 tbsp
  • Cane Sugar Cane Sugar 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Almonds Almonds 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp 1 tsp
  • Ground Cloves Ground Cloves pinch pinch
  • Vanilla Powder Vanilla Powder pinch pinch

Instructions

  1. 1.Wash and peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
  2. 2.Place them into a small casserole dish (pour some lemon juice over them if you want to avoid that they get brown).
  3. 3.Preheat oven at 175 degrees Celsius at top and bottom heat (top and bottom heat).
  4. 4.Add all the remaining ingredients together into a bowl, knead and crumble them between your fingers.
  5. 5.Sprinkle the crumble over the apples and place casserole dish into the oven.
  6. 6.Bake for 35 minutes until the crumble is golden brown. Eat warm!
