Warm Rice Porridge with Berries

Sweetened with agave and cinnamon, this rice porridge bowl is a delightful little breakfast for your meal plan!

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*
- White Rice White Rice 300g 1 & 2/3 cups
- Water Water 100ml 2/5 cups
- Soy Plain Yoghurt Soy Plain Yoghurt 300g 1 & 1/5 cups
- Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp 1 tsp
- Agave Nectar Agave Nectar 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
- Mixed Berries Mixed Berries 100g 2/3 cup
- Table Salt Table Salt pinch pinch
Instructions
- 1.Bring a saucepan of water to boil. Cook the rice as per instructions. Add salt and let the mix heat up well.
- 2.Once hot turn off the stove and add agave and cinnamon. Now take the mix off the stove and add the soy yoghurt. Mix thoroughly. If you desire more sweetness in the morning just add more agave.
- 3.Top the rice with the berry mix and enjoy this amazing breakfast.
- 4.PS. Did you know that having something warm in the morning relaxes your stomach and satiates your appetite for longer (so basically you won’t need brunch!)
