White Pizza with Roasted Asparagus

  • Olive Oil Olive Oil 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Garlic Garlic 1 clove 1 clove
  • Sea Salt Sea Salt 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
  • Ground Black Pepper Ground Black Pepper 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
  • Dried Oregano Dried Oregano 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
  • Cornstarch Cornflour 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Almond Milk Almond Milk 100ml 2/5 cup
  • Water Water 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Pizza Base Pizza Base 2 2
  • Asparagus Asparagus 60g 1/2 cup
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes Sun Dried Tomatoes 15g 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. 1.Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and medium-high heat, add flour and cook, stirring, for 2min, whisk in almond milk and crushed garlic and 2 tbsp filtered water and cook until thickened. Remove from heat and season with sea salt and black pepper.
  2. 2.Slice asparagus in half lengthways and chop 2 of the sundried tomatoes.
  3. 3.Spread the white sauce onto the tortilla and top with asparagus and whole and chopped sundried tomato, drizzle with olive oil and bake for 10-15min, until crust becomes golden.
  4. 4.Garnish with fresh parsley, season to taste and serve immediately.
